Bringing Safety Education Into Our Communities
Columbia Health & Safety participates in community events throughout Oregon and Washington to help families learn, prepare, and start important safety conversations.
Education • Preparedness • Genuine community care
We believe safety education is most powerful when it is accessible, practical, and shared face to face. Our goal is to be a positive community resource for families, homeowners, seniors, neighborhood groups, and local organizations.
BUILDING SAFER COMMUNITIES, ONE GENERATION AT A TIME
At Columbia Health & Safety, protecting families extends beyond the home. We believe stronger communities begin with education, preparation, and meaningful connections.
Through community events across Oregon and Southwest Washington, we’re proud to connect with families, share important safety information, and encourage greater awareness of fire prevention and emergency preparedness.
September 2026
Emergency Preparedness Show — Roseburg, Oregon

In September 2026, Columbia Health & Safety participated in the Emergency Preparedness Show in Roseburg, Oregon.
We had the opportunity to connect with community members and discuss practical approaches to home fire safety, emergency planning, and preparedness.
One particularly encouraging moment was seeing local Scouts taking an interest in emergency preparedness. Helping younger generations understand the importance of safety and readiness is an investment in stronger communities.
October 2026
Eugene Fall Home & Garden Show — Eugene, Oregon

Columbia Health & Safety was proud to participate in the October 2026 Eugene Fall Home & Garden Show.
Throughout the event, we connected with homeowners, families, and community members interested in home fire safety, emergency preparedness, and protecting their loved ones.
We appreciate everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and took time to learn more about creating safer homes and better-prepared families.

Working Alongside Community Partners
Strong communities are built through cooperation. We value opportunities to participate in safety-focused events alongside fire departments, law enforcement, first responders, community organizations, and local leaders.

Our event presence is centered on education, friendly conversation, and practical information. Depending on the event, we can provide safety tips, preparedness guidance, family-focused materials, demonstrations, and information about free Home/Family Safety Meetings.
PROPOSED COMMUNITY EDUCATION INITIATIVE
THE COLUMBIA HEALTH & SAFETY SMOKE & FIRE SAFETY MAZE
A Bigger Vision for Fire Safety Education
At Columbia Health & Safety, we believe safety education should be engaging, memorable, and accessible to families throughout our communities.
That’s why we are actively working to bring our proposed Smoke & Fire Safety Maze to life.

This portable inflatable educational experience is envisioned as an interactive learning environment where children and families can explore essential concepts of fire prevention, emergency preparedness, escape planning, and making safer decisions during an emergency.
Our goal is to bring this educational experience to schools, community events, festivals, emergency preparedness programs, and family-focused gatherings throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.
We believe that helping families develop practical safety knowledge today can make a meaningful difference when emergencies happen.
Project status: The Smoke & Fire Safety Maze is a proposed community education initiative seeking funding and sponsorship support. It is not yet an operating Columbia Health & Safety attraction.
OUR VISION: REACHING 25,000+ PEOPLE ANNUALLY
Our long-term goal is to bring engaging fire safety and emergency preparedness education to more than 25,000 children, parents, and community members annually.
Through community events, educational partnerships, and hands-on learning experiences, we envision expanding access to practical safety education across the communities we serve.
25,000+ is our future annual reach goal, not a previously achieved result.
Partner With Columbia Health & Safety
We are actively seeking businesses, fire departments, first responders, community organizations, local agencies, and other organizations that share our commitment to safety and preparedness.
Partnerships can take many forms—from supporting the development of our smoke-maze initiative to collaborating at community events, helping expand safety education, providing resources, or developing new ways to reach families throughout our region.
Organizations interested in sponsoring the smoke-maze initiative may also have opportunities for appropriate recognition associated with the program and the community events it serves.
HELP US BRING THE SMOKE & FIRE SAFETY MAZE TO LIFE
Columbia Health & Safety is actively pursuing corporate sponsorships, grants, and community funding partnerships to support the development and deployment of our Smoke & Fire Safety Maze.
We welcome conversations with businesses, charitable organizations, community foundations, and others who share our commitment to protecting families through education and preparedness.
Sponsorship support will help us move this initiative from concept toward a practical educational experience that can benefit communities throughout our region.
Together, we can help make important safety education more accessible, engaging, and memorable for the next generation.
