Solutions With a Purpose

Safety Products Are Part of the Plan—Not the Whole Conversation

Products can strengthen protection, but they work best when families understand the risks they address and the role each item plays.

Carefully Selected, Life-Saving Products

Everything we do—and every life-saving product we offer—is held to the highest standards of quality, reliability, and dependability. We carefully select solutions we would trust to help protect our own families, because when an emergency happens, the products protecting your home and loved ones must perform when they are needed most.

  • Recommendations explained in clear, everyday language
  • Options considered in the context of your household
  • Education before any product decision
  • Support for customers after installation or purchase

Oregon & Southwest Washington

Home Safety Meetings in Your Community

We travel to households across our service territories. These are service areas, not additional CHS offices. Tell us your city when requesting a meeting so we can confirm availability and arrange a time.

Greater Portland

From Portland to Beaverton, Hillsboro, Gresham, Tigard, Tualatin, Lake Oswego, Oregon City and surrounding communities, our meetings help households connect smoke and carbon monoxide detection with a practical escape plan. Renters and homeowners can bring questions about their own living arrangements.

Ask about a Home Safety Meeting for your household, including who needs help getting outside and where everyone will meet.

Vancouver & Southwest Washington

We serve Vancouver, Ridgefield, Battle Ground, Camas, Washougal, La Center, Brush Prairie and surrounding communities. A meeting brings the conversation home: what your alarms do, how your household will respond, and which preparedness supplies fit your needs.

Include your city and any questions about existing smoke, CO or water leak detection when you contact us.

Longview, Kelso & the I-5 Corridor

Our Southwest Washington service territory includes Woodland, Kalama, Longview, Kelso, Castle Rock and communities between them. Families can ask about home fire prevention, alarm options, escape planning and emergency kits in one conversation.

Request a meeting with your location and preferred availability; our team will follow up to confirm arrangements.

Roseburg & Douglas County

For local household planning, Douglas County’s Umpqua Prepared resources include a family emergency preparedness handbook. Bring questions about your household plan to your CHS meeting.

Roseburg is an important CHS service market. We welcome inquiries from Winston, Green, Sutherlin, Oakland, Myrtle Creek, Riddle, Canyonville, Glide, Winchester, Dillard and surrounding Douglas County communities.

Use your meeting to discuss both getting out of a home fire and preparing your household for an evacuation or extended disruption. Bring questions about family communication, essential supplies and the needs of children, older adults or pets.

Eugene, Springfield & the Southern Willamette Valley

Our coverage includes Eugene, Springfield, Junction City, Creswell, Cottage Grove, Veneta, Coburg, Pleasant Hill and nearby communities. Meetings are designed for the whole household, including renters, homeowners and people sharing a home.

Discuss a plan everyone can understand, practical preparedness supplies, and smoke and carbon monoxide safety questions specific to your home.

Hood River, The Dalles & the Columbia River Gorge

Include local alerts in your household communication plan. See Hood River County emergency alerts and Wasco County emergency information for the official enrollment routes.

Hood River and The Dalles are part of our regional service focus. Inquiries are also welcome from Mosier, Cascade Locks, Odell, White Salmon, Bingen, Stevenson and North Bonneville; we will confirm availability for your location.

A meeting can help you think through family communication, preparedness supplies and home escape planning. Ask about arrangements on either the Oregon or Washington side of the Gorge.

Bend & Central Oregon

Bend residents can also explore the city’s safety and prevention resources, including smoke alarm and wildfire readiness information. Discuss your household’s detection and preparedness questions with CHS.

We welcome Home Safety Meeting requests from Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Sunriver, La Pine, Tumalo and surrounding communities within our service territory. Confirm local availability with our team before making plans.

Bring questions about household detection, emergency kits and preparing for disruptions away from your normal routine. We can explain product options alongside practical family safety education.

Our existing service coverage also includes Coos Bay. If your community is not listed, ask us about availability. You can also explore our online store or preparedness resources.
