Columbia Health and Safety, Inc. is committed to handling personal information honestly, responsibly, and with care.
Last updated: October 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Columbia Health and Safety, Inc. (“Columbia Health & Safety,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website, browse or purchase through our online store, submit a form, schedule a Home/Family Safety Meeting, request customer support, join a mailing list, participate in a promotion, or otherwise communicate with us.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact information: name, email address, telephone number, city, state, and other details you choose to provide.
- Request information: scheduling preferences, customer-support details, questions, comments, event information, and testimonial submissions.
- Promotion information: eligibility details and entries submitted for giveaways or other promotions.
- Communication preferences: newsletter enrollment, marketing choices, consent records, and opt-out requests.
- Technical information: device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, referring page, and cookie or similar technology data collected by our website and service providers.
Online Store, Orders & Payments
Our store uses WooCommerce. When you shop or place an order, we collect information needed to process and support your purchase, including your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, selected products and quantities, order history, and communications about the order. If you create an account, we also maintain account and sign-in information.
We use this information to process orders and payments, arrange shipping, respond to customer-service requests, handle returns and refunds, prevent fraud and misuse, and maintain accounting, tax, transaction, and other required business records. Authorized staff use order information as needed for these purposes.
Payments are processed by Stripe through our WooCommerce payment integration. Information needed to process or support a payment, including contact and billing details, order amounts, transaction identifiers, and relevant device or security information, is shared with Stripe. Stripe handles sensitive payment details; our store does not store full card numbers or card security codes. We retain order and transaction records and may receive limited payment information, such as card brand and last four digits. Stripe also processes information for fraud prevention, security, and its legal obligations. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for details.
To ship an order, we provide the shipping carrier with information necessary for delivery, such as the recipient’s name, delivery address, and contact details where needed. Our hosting and technical service providers support the operation and security of the store as described below. We do not make purchase or payment information public.

Calls, Text Messages & Email
If you ask us to contact you about a meeting, support request, event, entry, or other service, we may use the contact information you provide to respond to that request.
We send promotional calls, text messages, or marketing email only as permitted by law and according to the choices or consent you provide. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchasing a product or receiving a requested service. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing email by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You may ask us to stop marketing calls or texts by replying STOP when available or contacting us directly. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary service or transactional communications.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
Our website and service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate forms, maintain shopping carts and checkout sessions, support account sign-in and payment security, remember preferences, protect the site, understand website use, and improve performance. WooCommerce uses session cookies to remember cart information, and Stripe uses cookies and similar technologies for payment functionality and fraud prevention. Where required, you may manage nonessential cookies through the cookie-consent controls displayed on the website. Browser settings may also allow you to block or delete cookies, although some features may not function correctly afterward.

- To website hosting, form, email, analytics, communications, security, and other service providers acting on our behalf.
- When necessary to respond to your request, administer a promotion, or provide a service you requested.
- When required by law, legal process, or a valid government request.
- To protect the rights, safety, security, and property of Columbia Health & Safety, our customers, or others.
- In connection with a merger, financing, sale, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.
Testimonials & Public Content
Submitting a customer story does not automatically make it public. We will review the submission and seek permission before publishing identifying information. If approved, we will use the display name, initials, location, or anonymous format agreed upon with you.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services, fulfilling orders, maintaining customer, transaction, accounting, tax, and consent records, handling refunds, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and why it was collected.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online system or method of transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
