Home/Family Safety Meetings
What is a Home/Family Safety Meeting?
It is an educational conversation focused on home fire safety, emergency preparedness, awareness, prevention, and practical steps your household can take together. Our goal is to give families valuable information they can use—not to pressure anyone.
Is the meeting really free?
Yes. The Home/Family Safety Meeting is offered at no cost and without obligation.
How long does the meeting take?
Most meetings take about 60 minutes. The exact time can vary slightly depending on your household’s questions and needs.
Should the whole family participate?
Yes, when possible. Safety plans work best when everyone understands what to do. Information is presented in a comfortable, family-focused way.
What topics are covered?
Topics may include home fire prevention, smoke and carbon monoxide safety, family escape planning, emergency preparedness, and practical ways to make your household more prepared.
Can renters schedule a meeting?
Yes. Home fire safety and emergency preparedness matter whether you own or rent your home.
Products & Preparedness
Will products be discussed during the meeting?
Education is priority. When appropriate, we may explain available safety and preparedness solutions, but the meeting is designed to provide value with no pressure or obligation.
Do you provide emergency preparedness kits?
Preparedness kits may be included with eligible Home/Family Safety Meetings or offered through current programs and promotions. Ask about availability when scheduling.
